PRIVACY & COOKIES
Privacy, explained like a tutorial
No wall of fine print here. This page walks through what we collect, why, and how you stay in control — the same friendly pace as your first hour on the floor.

1
What we collect
When you book your first hour we ask for your name, email, the date you want, whether you have played on PC before, and if you would like a guide. That is the whole list. We only take what we need to hold a seat and meet you at the door.
Don't worry: we never ask for anything sensitive, and there is no long account to create.

2
Why we keep it
Your details let us prepare your station, pair you with a guide, and send a simple confirmation. We do not sell your information, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not pass it to anyone who is not part of running the club.

Cookies, plainly
A cookie is a tiny note your browser keeps. Ours remembers that you accepted this notice so the banner stops asking. That preference is also saved in your browser's local storage so it works even when the page is opened offline. No tracking cookies, no third-party pixels, no analytics following you around.
Don't worry: you can clear these any time from your browser settings and nothing else about your visit changes.

4
Your control
Want your booking details removed, or a copy of what we hold? Email us and we will sort it quickly. You can decline cookies by ignoring the banner and clearing your browser; the club still works exactly the same. Being new here should feel safe, and that includes your data.
This policy is written for a physical beginner computer club and kept intentionally short. If anything changes, we will update this page and the plain-English summary at the top.
